Using MOLDCARE is Helpful for Extremities (Elbow) Immobilization

Accurate positioning of extremities during radiation therapy is challenging because hands and feet are easy to move.

MOLDCARE is used on various types of extremities for more secure and comfortable immobilization.

This is a MOLDCARE User Review from the Institut de Bourgogne - Dijon in France.

They used HN 1 (20cm x 25cm) and HN 2 (20cm x 45cm) for stereotactic treatment of a lesion at the elbow.

In 3 treatment sessions, they validated good stiffness, reproducible arm flexion and patient comfort.

They also appreciated an advantage of MOLDCARE "Ease of Use", only a little water for activation.
