Introduction

ALCARE is committed to realizing its corporate philosophy and fulfilling social responsibilities to promote the sustainable development of society. To achieve this, all officers and employees will act in line with the following principles while upholding high ethical standards and social responsibility.

1.Provision of appropriate products and services

  • We will continue to develop and deliver reliable, high-quality products and services with superior efficacy and safety to earn the trust of our customers and society at large, and contribute to a high quality of life.
  • We sincerely perceive opinions from stakeholders and respond to them appropriately and promptly, thereby improving the quality, efficacy, and safety of our products. We are confident that this will lead to sustainable economic growth and address social issues.

2.Promotion of fair and sound business activities

  • In all business activities, we comply with laws, regulations, internal norms, and their spirit while conducting prudent activities aligned with social ethics.
  • We establish business relationships based on fair rules and build trusting relationships with our business partners through smooth communication, thereby promoting mutual development.
  • We maintain sound and transparent relationships with healthcare professionals, administrative organizations, and other relevant entities.
  • We do not have any relationship with antisocial forces, organizations, or individuals who threaten the safety and order of society, and have a resolute attitude.
  • We properly manage personal and customer information as well as confidential information obtained through our business activities and do not disclose, use, or divulge them improperly or without authorization, both during and after employment.
  • We respect intellectual property rights, protect our own as well as others', by taking great care not to infringe upon them, and will obtain and use intellectual property rights suitably.

3.Respect for human rights and enhancement of the working environment

  • Regardless of the countries or regions where we operate, we respect human rights and diverse cultures and customs and eliminate all forms of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, social status, gender, age, disability status, and other factors.

4.Harmonization with society and the environment

5.Thorough implementation of the Charter

  • Should an employee become aware of any situation in which any of our members or organizations have violated (or may violate) laws, regulations, or internal norms, including this Charter, they are encouraged to promptly report it or notify the company. The company does not condone or conceal any wrongful acts.
  • The company will respond fairly to whistleblowers reporting violations and will not subject them to unfair treatment as a result of their reports or notifications.
  • Top management operates the company with the understanding that realizing the spirit of this Charter is their duty. They establish an effective internal system to achieve this, take the lead in exemplifying a guiding model, familiarize the company and related entities with the spirit of the Charter, and encourage business partners to act in accordance with it.
  • In the event of a situation that may undermine social trust despite the spirit of this Charter, top management will promptly and appropriately disclose and explain the information, take the initiative in conducting fact-finding, investigate the cause, prevent recurrence, and fulfill their social responsibilities.
